At the foot of the hills of the Paciano village, overlooking Lake Trasimeno, this typical legume is grown, also called "lake rice". The bean arrived in the area of Lake Trasimeno thanks to the trade exchanges of the Etruscans with Africa and its peculiarity is that it can only be grown in this area.
